QuoteGetting an hour to do something for myself is invaluable. I brought in my colicky five week old and didn't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about his crying. Marissa goes to lengths to make sure moms and babies are comfortable. I don't feel self conscious and that really makes for a relaxing hour and a half. Time is spent talking as well as yoga practice. I appreciate Marissa really taking time with each student to make sure we are really getting into our poses, are challenged yet not pushed. The studio is warm and bright. Props, chairs and straps are used to maximize the poses. Yoga mats and blankets are provided. Babies can sit with moms, or on the blanket in the middle of the room with other babies. My only complaint is that I wish more post-natal classes were available during the week so I could practice more often. But Marissa is very sensitive to new moms, their schedules and their energy.

QuoteCastro Yoga just moved. It is now called YogaGarden of San Francisco. You can visit their website at Yogagardensf.com. I found the class a bit crowded, but it seems like a GREAT community of moms-to-be in the prenatal yoga class.

Quote10 pregnant women are squeezed into a tiny, hot room. Not my idea of relaxing yoga.
