I took my daughter to get her first haircut at the Yellow Balloon when she was just over 2.
Carol was patient and kind with my daughter and gave her a fantastic haircut. We have taken her back twice, and now have taken my son there as well.
Recently Carol was unavailable for a same-morning appointment -- and my girl was really looking forward to getting it done. I took her to Hair Cuttery. NEVER AGAIN! The butchered her hair - and they had to have a manager 'fix it'. Needless to say, two weeks later, we are going back to Carol today - and will not stray again.
My initial reaction to the shop was that it looked a little grungy and in need of a good cleaning. But, willing to overlook this for the awesome cut we get.

My 2 year old got a hari cut at this place today. The hair cut was decent, but the service and the environment not worth the price. The stylist was in a rush and a little on the rude side, I think they could have been upfront and assign a different person. The place could also be much cleaner.

They have done a good job with both of my kids. It is very kid-friendly with lots of things to keep them entertained. It is always easy to get an appointment.
