I delivered all three of my kids here, and I would go back and do it again if we had a 4th - despite it being 30 to 45 minutes away from our house at non-peak hours.
The staff at Woman's Hospital was overall pleasant, although with my 1st they did try to force pain pills on me. With my 2nd I didn't care for my first postpartum nurses, they were quite rough with me. Everything was a dream with my 3rd though, and I would say my overall experience with all three children was good!

I HAVE NEVER STAYED OR HAD MY BABY HERE BUT WHEN I WENT TO VISIT FRIENDS THIS WAS A VERY GOOD HOSPITAL THE NURSES AND DOCTORS WERE NICE.

I love Woman's Hospital and wouldn't want to give birth anywhere else. Both deliveries and stays went well. I loved all the nurses but two - one from each stay - but I consider that minor compared to problems we could have had!

I gave birth to my son early this year and so bad experience with the doctor, lab and billing.
Because it was the weekend, the ob was a doctors oncall, a mexican gentleman. He made me very painful when born the placenta even if I had epidural.
Then after the birth of my baby, I was told that I had a positive result for a very bad disease which will affect the baby too (It turned out to be negative after furthure exam) The baby was given medicine without telling me. Horrible memory during these two days stay at that hospital.
Back home, we had the worst experience with the billing. I called and being called dozens of times about my insurance and balance. Error occured again and again. Still deal with it now.

I had nothing but a great experience at Texas Woman's. My son was born on Christmas Eve and I know all of them would rather be with their family, but they made us feel like we were their family. It was a smooth transition from the second I went into the hospital. If I had any questions there was a nurse there in a second. I never had a problem with the nursery and there was someone there around the clock to help me out. They were adding on new rooms when I was there, but they weren't open yet and I can't wait to see them for the next baby.
