I like the different trails at this park, plus they have a nice bike path too. great place for an afternoon walk.

Great Large park full of good trails, but can get muddy.
Best trail run over many fun bridges.
Lots of crayfish and crawdads to catch in the creek

This is a great place to take kids and go for a hike. It is close to town, so the drive is not a big deal. The interpretive center has changing exhibits which are interactive for toddlers on up. Pick any trail and choose your distance! It is always easy to find your way back to the parking. The summer offers outdoor concerts and classes. The staff is always nice and informative and there are great resources here for other ways to enjoy our beautiful state.
