QuoteBeing that I've been breastfeeding consitantly for 4.5 years, my first son for 2.5 years, and now my second going strong. I thought I wouldn't have needed or been able to find new or usefull information from an outside source. The LC on staff at Swedish Ballard campus was amazing though - she helped (when my 2nd son was an infant) with positioning and improving latch. She was so encouraging and helpfull, amazing staff at Swedish.

QuoteI love the food being serve to me in my room but they had stuck the needle in the wrong vein for my firstborn daughter. The parking is limited and we had to pay for parking. The thing that suck for me was I didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi option.

QuoteMy toddler went to Swedish for a congenital defect repair in February of 2008. I was impressed with the level of care that each level of staff took with my son to make sure he was comfortable and not stressed out. I was the stressed out one and the surgery took twice as long as expected, but everyone was professional and caring. The only downside was lack of privacy when the doctor was done with the procedure and came out to talk with me in the waiting room and there was another family present. They were in for the same thing so it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. The post-op nursing staff was FANTASTIC, especially when my son vomitted all over me and I didn't have a change of clothes.

QuoteI cant begin to say enough positive things about Fra Na, Rebecca and Heather at the Swedish Midwifery. They are truly a wonderful bunch! I was lucky enough to participate in the very first Centering Pregnancy class ever offered here in Seattle with them, while expecting the birth of my first son. It was a magical experience. Never have I worked with more caring or knowledgeable staff. It was a tremendous experience.

QuoteI went in to have a colposcopy. I found the long wait unbearable and felt that the nurses and doctor were very impersonal. On the plus side, the waiting room was nice and stocked with lots of things for my child to do while we waited.
