My partner and I stayed for several days in August 2008 during the birth of our twins. The hospital is sometimes tricky to navigate because of different wings/floors/etc. In my sleep deprivation those first few nights, I would get lost going from the cafeteria back to our room. Everyone from the floor nurses to janitorial staff would reach out to offer to help, make things more comfortable, and more... Even the gift shop has appropriate, reasonably-priced items to buy for various occasions. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Swedish Hospital (on Broadway)..

I did not give birth here, but when my baby was 4 mos old she got a bad case of RSV. We were at Valley Medical Center for 2 days before demanding to go to another hospitol, we got sent to Swedish and the care for our tiny daughter was SOOO much more attentive and better. In a trivial matter the food was very good for a hospitol, esp chocolate cake.

I delivered both of my boys at Swedish. The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There was lots of pacing room in the hospital :)! I enjoyed the food too!

I had 3 great birth experiences here. The labor an delivery staff was great. My only complaint would be that I got too much random unsolicited breastfeeding advice from the postpartum nurses. I knew this the second time around so I was forceful in letting them know that I knew what I was doing and saved my questions for the lactation consultant.
