Sullivan's Toy Store is the best place to buy unique gifts for kids. The customer representatives are very knowledgeable about the merchandise and make good recommendations on what to buy for kids of different ages. I was very pleased with what they recommended and my nephew loved the toy I bought him from this store.

One of the three high-quality, locally owned toy stores in NW DC. I tend to prefer Tree Top and Child's Play because the staff is more mature and the selection easier to sort through. But still it's a great alternative to Toys R Us and supports local business.

DC has several wonderful independent toy stores -- Sullivans is not one of them. The store is convenient to pick up a coloring book or puzzle, but not much more.
