We have been a patient of Dr. Alvis for several years now since moving to McKinney. He was recommended to us by several other parents on our street who all had glowing things to say about him. I have to say I agree completely! He is careful and attentive and always talks to our children. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician. He also has a great doctor working with him, Dr. Paul Reyes. If Dr. Alvis is not there, please do not hesitate to have him look at your child or children! I absolutely cringed at the other review, it doesn't sound like the doctor or office I happily go to but respect another's opinion nonetheless! I would suggest trying the office if it is close to your home and see for yourself. Everyone has someone they will feel is a perfect "fit" and if it isn't then by all means, try someone who may be your perfect "fit". Don't rule out a practice by one negative, you may find it is where you feel best going to. I care about my children and am a fan of Stonebridge Pediatrics.

We had a terrible experience with this practice. The doctor actually misdiagnosed our baby and we had to get x-rays unneccessarily on him when he was just 2 months old. The staff was not great either. The doctor did not respect our wishes regarding vaccinations and he also did not remember info we told him. After we got the x-rays we had to harass the staff to finally get an answer for a week. All the while thinking our baby was going to have to have neurosurgery! It turned out nothing was even wrong with him and that they had the results after one day but didnt care enough to return our calls. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, ever, ever, ever.
