You can trust St. Louis Workout to do everything possible to get your money. They are worse than an auto-renew website. Forget trying to cancel anything with them. I prepaid a year's membership and was injured in the free first session with a personal trainer. Not realizing what had happened, I signed up the same day for 10 sessions with the then-head trainer. A few days later at my first paid appointment I told them that my back had been hurt and I couldn't do the training. They tried to switch me to a trainer I had never seen before and refused to give me my money back. After six months of physical therapy and fighting with them, they were still able to keep everything had paid. The partners in this business are real pieces of work and well-practiced at winning battles. I am filing suit against them next week.

The company's management is run by a bunch of crooks. I paid for a 2 year membership in advance so I didn't have to be on a contract. The guy who signed me up tried to pressure me into his network marketing scam. They kept my debit card on file and started debiting my account $30/mo after the membership expired. When I tried to cancel this, they said I had to send a signed letter certified mail to their corporate office with two additional months of dues in order to cancel. When I told them I was not on a contract, but a membership paid in full in advance, they threatened to place my account in collection and could collect up to "six months of dues." All of this for a facility that is overcrowded and dirty, with no towels or drinking fountain.

Very convienent for moms on the go. I love the kid club so that I can bring my kid along.

I really enjoy using the St. Louis Workout facility in Crestwood Mall. When I joined, manager, Rob Hall got me acquainted to the facility. I have a one-year old and am pregnant with number two. The staff is knowledgeable and can help with tips and advice. Kids Club is a god-send! I can have my toddler with me and get a full workout in without worries. Plus, the location is convenient for me (a city-dweller) because of all the nearby shopping and businesses. I have gotten to know a few regulars and they are also friendly and encouraging. It's a great break to look after "mommy". The class schedules are convenient and the facility is very clean (someone is always wiping something or cleaning floors, bathrooms, etc.). When I'm done I can treat myself to a protein smoothie, grab the kiddie and go!
