I did not expect breastfeeding to be so challenging and the lactation consultants at St. Josephs were very available and so helpful. My baby had to stay in the hospital a week after delivery and they still supported me even though I was no longer at the hospital. My success to now being a breastfeeding mom of a 5 month baby is the amazing support and encouragement I had while at St. Josephs. However even with this great support there was a nurse at St. Josephs who kept trying to discourage me from breastfeeding and made the experience frustrating. But, overall the excellent support inspired me to help my family and friends who are breastfeeding.

Registration for classes is a hassle, but instructors are very knowledgable.
