QuoteThe place is pretty, but I was disappointed with the prenatal yoga class. I really was hoping it would have more substance and be more challenging. I don't think the teacher is a mom or has a strong understanding of labor and birth. It seemed a bit generic.

QuoteSpabebe with all its classes and offerings is amazing. Not every technique taught works perfectly but, every delivery is different. I love the sense of community here and found all the women to be so warm and helpful.

QuoteThese classes are great if you don’t have anything else to do and want to be “busy” during pregnancy. I attended all, but one class. I did all exercises correctly according to Julie (the trainer and developer), but nothing worked at the time of pushing. I think these techniques are very impractical when you have spent hours and hours of active labor without food or/and sleep and want to get it over with. I bet more 90% of moms forget the exercises at the time of pushing. While Julie will tell you many times during the class that hundreds of women, using her techniques, delivered their babies after a few minutes of pushing, I did not and still do not believe that. It’s one of her marketing strategies. Would she say the opposite? Of course not! I do like Julie, but her techniques do not work for the majority of women. NOTE: I did give birth naturally and without medications (which does not have anything to do with this class), but her/their claim that it will make you push the baby out in a few minutes is totally false. It might only work a 5% of the moms.

QuoteI like the "tupler technique" It makes sense to me, hopefully, it will help me out during labor and help me regain my flat belly afterwards. I did find the class a little preachy and pretty pricey.

QuoteMaternal Fitness has wonderful classes and service providers for the mother to be. I took Maternal Dance to keep in shape and the techniques I learned were fun and helped me to keep fit throughout the pregnancy and after.
