We visited the bookstore this past weekend after a recommendation from a friend. On our arrival we found the bookstore hard to stop, the music was loud and not kid friendly. We like to shop at the local merchants over the "big boy bookstore" but we found Simon Says Read neither charming nor the staff friendly enough to return.

I have a 2 year old, and we love spending time at this wonderful bookstore. The staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It's very kid-friendly with bean bags and toys, so we usually grab a cup of coffee from across the street and go to hang out for a while.

Feels like a small town walking around the town center and into a book store, but this book store is nothing but small. They have a great selection, kid oriented with reading charis and table, as well as books for adults too. Weekly reading times. We love it!

What a great neighborhood book store. Their selection of children's books is impressive and they will special order anything you need. Plus, they have nice gifts and books for grown ups too.

Check out Simon Says Read, the children's bookstore. This is a local business, and independent bookstores everywhere need our support. Colorado is great at supporting local bookstores. I run in there for every neighborhood kid birthday party and grab a unique book as a gift. AND they are now carrying the SAFE, lead-free, wooden Melissa & Doug toys.
