I delivered my daughter here, and it was the best experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and my room had a balcony. This hospital is wonderful!

They offer a breast feeding support group. It is open to anyone - free of charge - a couple times a week. The women's center at the Hospital has the current schedule. It was nice to meet other mothers that were having the same difficulties and joys as I was. It was also a great chance to see what to expect with the changing age of your child. Especially nice with my first one - I could look at the other babies and see the changes and differences that were in the future. The lactation specialists are great and have suggestions and ideas and provide a good listening ear.

This is the best place to go for assistance with breastfeeding. They sell pumps but they also have everything from nipple shields to gel packs specifically designed for nursing discomfort. The breastfeeding support group is open to ANYONE regardless of what healthcare they have - they never even ask. The lactation consultants put on the gloves and get right to work on latch or soreness or whatever your issue is. They are set up to weigh the babies naked for an accurate weight, and they also weigh before and after a feeding to see how much babies are taking. The pumps are competitively priced and the other products are very inexpensive. Plus they show you how to use everything right there so you aren't left wondering what to do at home. There aren't enough stars on the board for this program.
