I have been a nanny for 6 years, and have been working with every agency in San Diego. I always felt that these agencies did not care about their nannies, or their families, and were not very interested in long lasting positions. They were sloppy, inefficient, and very unqualified to be making a judgement about which nanny belonged in which house. Seaside Nannies is now the only agency I will use to find my families. Dara Green (President) is one of the most personable, welcoming people I have met in this industry. Having been a Nanny for 22 years, and an education childhood development, she has the necessary qualifications for assessing family dynamics, and what personalities will mesh appropriately. She takes care of her Nannies, and Families, and her main priority is making the fit last for years.
I would highly recommend Dara Green to any family or Nanny looking for a custom fit for their needs.

We have known Dara for approximately 1 ½ years. She started when my daughter was just seven weeks old. From the start Dara came into our home with exuberance and energy for her work. Over time she developed a strong and loving relationship with my daughter. She is both warm and loving without ever being smothering or overindulgent. She respected my wishes and gently guided me as a new mom when I asked her advice and opinions. As my dear daughter has grown into a toddler Dara has guided her with age appropriate play and activities. She has in so many ways made my own transition into motherhood a smooth journey. Together as a team we have set routines, feeding, sleeping, and safety guidelines. Her years of experience have helped me create the best and warmest environment for my daughter to thrive. If you are looking for someone who is outstanding with children of all ages, filled with knowledge, playful yet strong enough to set firm boundaries than Dara would be a great fit. I would also be remiss to leave out that during her time in our home I never felt concern for the safety or well being of my daughter. Dara is watchful, protective, and extremely safety oriented.
