We had a good time and it was local. No San Diego Zoo but the kids had fun - the prices are great too!

Really only monkeys and some farm animals but a nice experience. Lots of really young children. Nice short outing venue.

The zoo was nice. My son loved the Monkeys and the birds. They had lots of construction and I would suggest to get there before 1pm because we went after and there was nothing out. No elephant and no train ride. They do have a playground though. The little farm was great

This zoo was great for strolling with my 8 month old. There are not many animals as mentioned in other reviews but my 8 month old enjoyed the monkeys and farm area. During the summer admission is half price after 2pm. Gates close at 4 but the zoo is open till 5 - more than enough time for little ones. Admission is already cheap - but you can't beat $3 half price :)
