When I went onto the website I was not able to make a decision to join based on activities the club participates in since there is not a way to see these activities before joining. So, I decided to attempt to join anyway. I registered and sent a check to the address listed on the website on the 2nd of September. Now two months later (Oct 29) I have not heard a word from them, despite sending an e-mail requesting a reply a month ago. My check is somewhere out there and for all I know this club is a myth.

A nice way to be welcomed into a new town! Activities are fun for families to meet new friends.

I joined the San Rafael Mothers Club when I was pregnant and met others who were due around my same time. I have met some great new friends for myself and my child as a result of SRMC. It was really comforting to have other new moms to talk to and get help. I believe I also got out of the house more with my newborn - which can be daunting - because of these awesome women I met. The club has also served as a great resource for referrals and information.

Wonderful resource for new and not-so-new moms. Nice, friendly people and great activities.

This is an all volunteer organization so you get what you put into it. Join for the newsletter and to join a playgroup. If your first playgroup doesn't seem like a good fit, don't be afraid to try a new one.
