We always renew our annual membership. The zoo is our go-to place for a walk when it's hot outside. We take all of our out-of-town guests (since we get free passes!) and it is so fun to see other people see the zoo for the first time. I have lived near the Los Angeles and National Zoos as well, and I have to say- nothing compares to the San Diego Zoo! It is clean, exciting, well kept and the staff is very helpful. Summer's Night Zoo is the best- the Sky Ride at sunset is the most beautiful view. The zoo is a great family or couple date place. I recommend hitting up the night zoo with your sweetie and heading over for the Prado's patio happy hour.

I grew up going to the SD Zoo. I love the varaity of animals. They are fun to watch and take pictures of. There is soo much to do that sometimes you don't have enough time to do it all in. But it's very fun and entertaining. If you go in the winter season, there are a lot of things to do with the family. This is a very family orientated place.

We absolutely love the SD zoo. The annual pass is really affordable and it's great to go for just a few hours, or even for dinner in the treehouse during the summer.

My family and I love to go to the San Diego zoo. We see something different each visit and the animals seem really accessible to even the littlest of eyes. The best part? You get a great workout walking the hills!
