I like Zoo better than wild animal park as here you have to get lucky to get great animal views. I went one time and did not enjoy much.

Of course this place is educational. The lion exhibit is very "in your face". They are so large, but it's great. The walking is exhausting especially for little ones. Theres a ride on, but not a good idea for 4 and under because you have to stay on the entire time. Would not recommend visiting in the summer, way too hot! There are animal statues(for pics.) all over the park,and a small playground.

The Wild Animal park is a great place for a date, or to take the kids on a field trip, or bring the out-of-town relatives. There is an abundance of interesting animals, a kids park, and seasonal activities. One downside is that nothing is very close together, so you have to hike a bit to get to some exhibits, or you can take the tour bus. Another downside is that you have to pay to park.

I love this park! It's so fun and all the exhibits and shows are great. There are lots of hills, but it's good exercise! The prices on food and beverages are expensive like other amusement parks. A great perk for military families: active and i believe veteran military members get in free, and family members get 10% off the ticket price.
