QuoteA friend of mine recommended this place, so I went with my 4 year old daughter, and she didn't want to leave when it was getting dark. There's so many things to choose from, she wanted to do it all. We're definitely coming back!

QuoteI don't know what I would do without Recess. My 19 month old has been a member since he was 14 months old and he THRIVES in this environment. He loves the space, the toys, the staff, AND the classes. Great thing is, I can take classes too while he is playing in the next room with the staff. If the occasion happens where I forget to bring milk or a snack, Recess' cafe has many offerings for a reasonable fee. I have also met many other moms and started my son in the Slippery Fish pre-preschool which is run inside Recess. I feel comfortable leaving my son with a sitter at Recess while I work or run errands as he has also made friends with the kids (and the moms and nannys!). Kristin and Lisa (co-founders of Recess) are amazing and inspiring women who have a smile on their face every time they greet us.

QuoteI cannot rave enough about Recess. It has truly become my home away from home. Not only are my children (ages 2 and 4) blissfully happy with the endless array of imaginative and stimulating playthings (there is something for every mood: a swing and a slide for active days, blocks and magnets for constructive days, a cozy book corner for mellow days, the dance room complete with disco ball for our regular dance session, and the ever-popular train station for train days. (:). There are also kids classes ranging from music to art to cooking. As for me, I get my fix as well: lots of coffee, free Wi-Fi, good magazines, my weekly pilates and core class (with 6$ an hour childcare! can't beat that...), massages, etc. But honestly, there are 2 things that make Recess extra special to me: the camaraderie of the owners/community of the other families that attend AND they make the best bagels. (; In this economy, it is great to have so many reasonable services in one place that serve the family as a WHOLE. Thank you, Recess! (:

QuoteMy 2 year old son adores recess. The play space is filled with such fun things to do. We did a cooking class that he loved, and I regularly go to the pilates classes they offer (which are amazing, and so reasonably priced). The staff is incredible and really treats your children like their own.
