The playground equipment is terrible, but there are much beter reasons to go to this park. There's a wading pool open parts of the day in the summer, and a nice, semi-secluded playfield. Ravenna Park connects to Cowen Park via a long, lush path. Parts of it are so peaceful and gorgeous that you can forget you're in the city. Great for riding bikes, playing hide-and-seek, walking the dog,... Restrooms on each end, none in the middle of the walking trail.

This is an easy park to get to with convenient bathrooms and pizza close by.

Being so close to the U District, this place can attact an interesting "element" - a little up-keep here would be nice.
