The Children's Garden is a little sparse but my daughter still likes it. The regular garden is a great place to tire out a toddler!

This is a great botanical garden for taking a walk/hike in with your kids. There is also the Seeds of Wonder (SOW) area for children that is hands on and hosts a number of weekly events. There is Tale & Tunes, Wings & Crawly Things, and Crafts among many other events.

First Tuesday of the month is free! Children's story time and garden activities start at 10:30 a.m. but get there early because it can get very crowded, and parking is limited.

We just had my son's 3rd bday party there and it was great. The Seeds of Wonder Garden is semi-enclosed, which helps with multiple kids. Their activity and craft days are great with plant repotting, a dinosaur dig, a rock wall to climb, a new train, playhouse and fishing trough. We loved it.
