"a little knowledge is a dangerous thing." It's still good to go to be in a room to talk to other moms. But the former instructor had raised 8 kids and been around long enough to no get caught up in fads. The new instructor, I'm sure unwittingly, basically terrorizes the class with all the horrible ways the moms are screwing up their babies, and gives wildly contradictory advice.

St. Joe's offers one of the best Mommy & Baby programs in the Valley. I attended the mommy & me classes for the 0-4 mos. set and then for a while for the 4-8 mos. set. (not as good or as well-attended). Basically, it all depends on who's teaching but overall you can't beat these classes anywhere. Well, worth getting out of the house for!

Intensive childbirth, breastfeeding and Mommy Wise classes were all great! I will be going every week with my baby to Mommy Wise.

Great selection of classes. Equipment was old (i.e. dolls in CPR class). Nice staff.
