We will never switch to another photographer for our family. Not unless Gen stops running her studio which will be a complete shame for the Chicago area. We just received our photos today and I have not stopped showing them off. The minute she walked in our door my daughter took to her and did not want her to leave. She made my shy little girl smile like I've never seen a stranger do. The photos of my daughter are breathtaking! THANK YOU GEN!

Gen is a very talented children's photographer in Chicago. She started out in the fashion industry and you can see her creative and artistic eye shine through in her work... I personally think many of her photos look like magazine ads. She is wonderful and easy to work with and all of her clients love her. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We used Gen for our photos about two weeks ago and today I came here to review her. I'm going to start out by saying that we had an amazing experience with Gen who is one of the most caring and professional people our family has ever worked with. From the very beginning she was professional and very attentive, squeezing us into her schedule as quickly as she could because we were going out of town. She arrived for our session promptly and our kids loved her right off of the bat. She spent two hours at my home instead of the 1 to 1.5 hours that I paid for, just to make sure that we got great photos. And we did! I was crying when I saw my slideshow and was amazed at how Gen really captured the true essence of my children, which is something that we've never had happen before. I am going to end this review by stating that I don't understand how someone could use those words to describe one of the most professional and caring businesswomen I've ever met. Gen is the farthest thing from surly and unprofessional and anyone who has used her would never, in their right mind, use those words to describe her demeanor.

I have had Gen take pictures of my kids a few times and she is seriously INCREDIBLE. She always makes my kids feel comfortable and tricks them into "playing" during the session so that she really captures their true expressions... genuine smiles... little smirks that are hard to catch... She is just so good with kids and has such an artistic eye.
