QuoteWonderful locally owned independent bookstore. Politics & Prose is a fixture in DC and has a loyal following. they're a little more expensive than Amazon and B&N but it's not a cookie cutter store, you can shop as long as you want and they're great at recommending books.

QuoteThis place is amazing! They have a fantastic selection of books on parenting, an excellent children's book section, and a cafe that is clearly baby- and kid-friendly. The staff are coridal and helpful. They genuinely seem to appreciate customer input. Who'd have thunk that the place where the likes of Bill Clinton et al. do book signings would be so warm and welcoming to families?
