I have a membership to our tiny local zoo - the Good Zoo at Oglebay in Wheeling, WV. The membership cost $52 for our whole family for the year. Included in this membership is free admission to the Pittsburgh Zoo. This is a great place to take kids of all ages to learn about wildlife. I suggest trying to go during the week and not on a holiday!

I've been here several times. Just added the new aquarium. Wonderful place to take small children.

My family loves this zoo. Even on the most crowded days, this is a nice place to be. The animals are easy to see most of the time and the interaction in the Kid's Kingdom is great. This is a great place to take a day trip.

This zoo certainly had the cuteness factor with the two new baby elephants and a new baby tiger. However, I felt that it was not as well-maintained as a couple of other big city zoos that I've visited. The monkey exhibit smelled really bad!
The aquarium part was very nice (and air conditioned!!!) on a hot summer's day. The exhibits there were nice, but it was so crowded that it was difficult to enjoy.
