I find this place very hit or miss. Sometimes the pictures turn out fantastic and others I can't find even a single shot I'm really thrilled with. The customer service is usually pretty bad and I often find myself waiting a long time, even when it isn't a holiday. But I do like their props and different style compared to other studios. I do find their prices to be overly high.

I find their prices to be a bit high ($20 per sheet, vs $5 at JC Penney or $8 at sears), but they do give you the sheets within an hour, so you don't need to make a second trip to the mall.
I also don't like the open studios -- harder to wrangle an active toddler when they can run out into the MALL from the studio.
And at times the lighting seems a little bit harsh, but overall not a bad place to get your photos done if you need them right away.

They have super cute props and I like the plain backdrops and flexibility of digital photography and no tables, etc. to set up. BUT, I find their prices to be high and more often than not, the photographers seem to just be teenagers and not what I would consider "professionals." They are very flexible and can often accomodate walk ins which is nice, and the turn around time is reasonable. Also, the last three times I have been there, they have failed to upload my images to their website, which I find to be quite disappointing. I would say JC Penney gives you a lot better value and still takes quality portraits.

Customer service varies on a day to day basis. My overall experience is a good one. However, many times my childs limbs have been cut off in the pictures. They will redo them but not always the same day. When they do get the shots right they are FANTASTIC!
