QuoteI normally go to this place. It's not perfect, but I've learned how to get around the "system". Choose a good photographer. Their props are often dirty! Bring your own, or at least check them in advance to make sure they're clean. Same thing goes for the backgrounds. I've learned that, if scuff marks show up in the final print, they can "erase" them digitally. Some of the staff don't know how to do it, but do persist! I insist on doing things my way and not following their silly rules. (they're supposed to do certain shots, but I refuse to waste a precious good mood getting them to pose for something I don't even want to buy!) Don't let them talk you into backgrounds you don't like. My kids would look terrible against their green, for instance. You have to be assertive. Do what I do, and tell them exactly what YOU want. Since it's digital, you can view the shot to make sure you got what you want. Now some photographers insist on "surprising" you later, which I think is a bunch of rubbish! I'd rather make sure that I got the shots I wanted, rather than coming back again another day to redo it. You're probably wondering WHY I still go there!! Despite all the problems, I've gotten some incredible shots there!
