My friend and I went into the store after eating at le grande and we had her two children with us. The sales girls were so rude to the children. It's ironic to run a children's store when you don't like children. They weren't destroying the store, merely looking at toys. They don't carry any merchandise that you can't find at more kid friendly boutiques such as Urban Kidz or Babs for Children or Blossomz.

EXPENSIVE, and have found same items elsewhere for less. Very cute store, but not-so-friendly staff.

I am new to town and stopped into Petite Chateau after eating at La Grande Orange. They have a lot of great lines--Juicy, Little Giraffe, etc. Very cute gift stuff, cute nursery stuff, etc. However, before anyone even said "hello" to me, a staff member snatched my coffee out of my hand, telling me that I should have read the sign on the door that read "no food or drinks." Yes, I should have read the sign, but it was too small on the door to see!! She embarassed me in front of all of the other customers, and unfortunately lost a customer in me.
