QuoteMy 12 yr old son is extremely comfortable and trusting with Dr. Watkins, which is most important to me. Ever since he was little I know when he is sick because he says he doesn't feel good and wants to go see Dr. Watkins. Yes there is always a wait as is the same with any Dr. The staff and nurses are terrific, very conscientious, attentive and responsive.

QuoteI really love this practice. I have 6 kids and we have been going to Dr. Neely from the very beginning. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain things. He is laid back, but definitely knows when to jump into action.

QuoteWhat a great physician and a great physician practice. Our boys have been seeing Dr. Yeager for over 8 years and we have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Yeager and the entire physician practice. Dr. Yeager spends thoughtful time with our boys when we need it and has had solutions for care that we had not considered in the past. In fact he recently referred us to a great hand surgeon for our youngest after our son had broken his finger at the growth plate. We see Dr. Yeager annually and have found the staff at the office friendly, engaging and always helpful when it comes to requesting medical records for school or camp.

QuoteI interviewed Dr. Watkins prior to having my baby. We were down to the wire and he seemed "good enough". After my son was born Dr. Halsell visited him in the hospital and I loved her... I switched doctors before ever going to the practice. Dr. Halsell was always so busy and rushed so we ended up not seeing her much; thus I switched back to Watkins. Fortunately my son didn't need much more than shots; however, the few times that I brought him in for non-routine visits Dr. Watkins was condescending and not very thorough. I had to make suggetions to him on what to check. I was so disappointed. The final strike was when I brought him in for a burn-like rash on his arm and he was diagnosed with a mosquito bite. Dr. Watkins not only misdiagnosed a burn (later confirmed by a doctor from another practice) for a bug bite after a brief look, but got angry with me when I asked him to consider other possibilities. I switched practices immediately and have been THRILLED with our new doctor and practice. I saw most of the other doctors in the practice who I was equally unimpressed with. Even my husband, who is easy to please, was disappointed. A lot of people reviewing this practice seem to like Dr. Neely... he is the one doctor I never met. I recommend you keep searching!
