Can't say enough about the rec center. Really a place for the whole community - kids adults and seniors. It is clean and well maintained. Love it!

This is a great recreation center in terms of activities. There is an indoor playground that is free for kids 4 and under that is just fabulous. Bring a book or your laptop and just let the kids go nuts but please keep an eye on them to make sure they are following the safety rules (staff do not supervise this area). They have a rock climbing wall, nice gymnastics room and swimming pool complete with water slides for those willing to pay a few bucks or buy a membership. Great classes for the adults and on site daycare if you have to bring the kids. The downsides to this place are pretty much limited to the teens they have running it and lack of supervision by staff in the playground area. Lifeguards seem to be more interested in just hanging out rather than enforcing rules. For example, the family hot tub is limited to a certain number of people and is not supposed to be used as a swimming pool for kids without supervision. That is what you will typically find though and the hot tub is overflowing with people. The family cabana changing rooms are for FAMILIES who need to change their little ones. This is not enforced and you will typically see a long line of people waiting to get into one of these while one person goes in to take their time getting changed. The family cabanas can also get pretty gross and I wonder how often they get cleaned. Again, something I think the teens working there could check on periodically. The indoor playground is great but there is no enforcement of the rules or age limits. A large slide has a sign that lets parents know their kids are not to be running up the slide. Low and behold that is what you will see when you go and the parents are either missing in action or too busy reading / talking to supervise their children. Also, the last two times we went to the playground, my daughter ended up with pink eye so I'm wondering how often it gets cleaned. I know that sounds like a ton of negatives but the fun you can have outweighs those in my mind.

There is a great indoor play area for crawlers and toddlers! It was clean, not too crowded in the afternoon, small enough to keep track of a crawler, big enough for her to romp around.
