This is a huge park right on the water and we all love it (mom, dad, and three year old). Its great for swimming because the water is quite shallow and calm and there is a lot of shade too.

If you rent canoes, please bring lots of sunscreen, not too much shade on the open water.

Tel: 305-919-1846 At 1,043 acres, Oleta River State Park is the largest urban park in the state. Activities include cabin rentals, protected beach on Biscayne Bay, bike trails, playground, pavillion rentals, bike rentals, kayak rentals. Fun for the whole family.

We love to spend sunday mornings here! I relax with baby Arie on the beach and we play in the very gentle waves while daddy gets to go mountain biking on the trails! they also have kayak rental. Fun for all!
