I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could! Let me first say I have literally NEVER written a review before, but a visit here left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to write one. First - a description: The store is in South Philly with a definite S. Philly vibe -- kind of old and run down, but like the store had been there for a long while -- which I was initially charmed by. We entered the store with twins in a twin snap-n-go and there was enough room to maneuver around, so, even though it's not a big store, it's a good size. They seemed to have a good selection of baby items. We were looking for strollers and they clearly had many on the floor. There were two men working the floor. While the store was definitely busy, my husband and twins literally stood in the stroller aisle for a good 20 minutes and no one ever approached us. Indeed, they made themselves very scarce when we tried to go up and approach THEM. Every person before and after us who were lingering around looking like they needed help was taken care of. They even made eye contact with my husband twice, but refused to come by. The store's big, but not so big that you could have missed us! (C'mon, we were the only non-white people there -- but beyond that we had a GIANT STROLLER WITH US!!). We were approached by no less than 5 different customers, though, with whom I had lovely conversations about twins and strollers and the like -- so to be clear, I found S. Philly and the S. Philli-ites overall fantastically pleasant. The staff at this store, however, clearly ignored us. I couldn't figure out why -- haven't grown up in the West Coast, perhaps, I'm dense about these things -- and my husband, who grew up in Buffalo, finally told me it was probably because we weren't white -- and indeed, that's the only distinction I could make between us and the rest of the customers. So, I find this sad. They didn't shoo us out or give us the evil eye or anything, but they didn't seem to care that we were interested in giving them our business.

I did not have the best customer service experience here although the staff is knowledgeable. This store has the best prices in the area for baby gear such as car seats and strollers.
