 the shoes and children's departments have a great selection as well as knowledgable and friendly employees. Some of the other departments (cosmetics, women's designer clothing) have some stuck-up employees that are eager to make the sale.

I can't believe people aren't making a bigger deal out of the facilities! Its frustrating finding changing tables and places to nurse in this city, but if I am anywhere near this place I will beeline it to the 4th floor to take advantage of their nice changing/nursing room. Its always clean and comfy. Of course, I also love the items in the store itself. I only shop organic and they typically have a couple of items I can snag. Their return policy is amazing as well!

I like Nordstrom because it is close to my job and I can stop by during lunch. The cothes is designer brands and expensive, but if you go during one of their big sales and shop from the sales rack, you can get some real finds! I love their piggy banks, I got my daughter one when I was expecting and had it personalized. They also have a nice shoe selection, and lots of great shower gifts, such as Mustela sets, those veeeeery soft blankies, and even a few pieces of children's jewelry. One thing that shocked me when I shopped there while I was pregnant, was they do not carry maternity clothes at the store, you have to buy it online! It's a shame, because they have such a cute children's section, it would only make sense to have an adjoining maternity section.

Nordstrom carries some of the best brands and has a great store layout, making it easy to navigate with strollers. The prices are not cheap, but it can be fun to just go and dream. Don't miss their semi-annual sales, where you can get great deals on their merchandise.

they are very expensive but their clothes are so cute and they have name brands.
