We have been registered with Neighborhood Nannies for 7 years and only have good things to say about them. They have never let us down, always providing our daughter with a wonderful nanny. We had a full time nanny who is still a part of our family for 5 years and now we use them as needed. We leave a message with our needs and they have ALWAYS helped us, even when we were unable to give them much notice. Our neighbors have tried the on-line sites and have frequent no-shows or last minute cancellations. We have NEVER had this happen to us. I can recommend Neighborhood Nannies without reservation.

I tried to reach Neighborhood Nannies on several occassions when I was searching for a temporary in-home caregiver for my daughter before I transitioned to Stay at Home Motherhood. I found that it took a while to receive a return call. When I did receive a return call, the placement counselor was very receptive to my needs but I was told that it could take several weeks to find a good fit. So, all in all, I would use them but start your search early. If you feel under pressure to receive an excellent caregiver for a short or long period of time, it's difficult to find someone. Overall, like all the nanny agencies that I've tried, they are professional but its very hard to find a good fit and reach someone on the first try.
