I love these bottles. I started out breastfeeding and then supplemented with formula and the nipples on these bottles are more natural. Both my boys took well to them.

I nursed both my babies and I went through many different kinds of bottles (trial and error). The first child went directly from nursing to a sippy cup with milk (she never wanted/took a bottle). The second child loved the Avent, so it was an easy transition, to wean her from nursing. It also gave me a break, as my husband could actually be involved in the feedings with the second child, unlike the first. The baby didn't seem to have as much gas, from the Avent in comparison to others she tried.

We used 2 bottles - this one - the avent bottle an dthe playtex drop ins. While both seems to work great with the gas I just felt the avent was a little more convients. However if the ring is not on just right it does leak. I tend to twist back before I twist on.

When my son was refusing a bottle, these were the only ones he would take. They have never leaked for me or my sister in law who watched my son. I just wish they were BPA free!
