The National Geogeraphic Museum at Explorers Hall hosts exhibits about past & current expeditions, adventures, and scientific research. Admission is FREE!
The museum is relatively small - and therefore not overwhelming like the Smithsonian museums. The perfect size for your toddler's short attention span. I highly recommend the current exhibit: Frogs - A Chorus of Colors that runs thru May 11th. My 2 year old LOVED searching for frogs in the exhibits. There is also a beautiful photography exhibit outside the museum that runs thru September 14th. Exhibits change, so always check to see what's current as some exhibits would not be of interest to kids of all ages.
