This is a fantastic place to spend time with toddlers. Parents leave out plastic kitchens, playhouses, and other large toys. The park is always busy but never jam-packed.

This city-owned playground is overseen and meticulously maintained by a private neighborhood group. Features new play equipment, and neighbors regularly donate new toys and playthings for the kids. The neighborhood group also sends out an email detailing kid-friendly activities in the Boston area. People can be added to the email list by emailing myrtlestplayground@hotmail.com. Probably inconvenient for those not living in the downtown area.
