Between the exhibits, the food, and the omni theater it's hard to not have a good time. I love that it's educational as well as fun.

While geared toward older kids, this museum is a lot of fun for a toddler or preschooler. We enjoy the Discovery Center for younger kids, and my son can stare at the audiokinetic sculpture just off the main entrance for about 20 minutes at a time. Many of the permanent exhibits seem rather tired and outdated. This is one of the few museums with decent food and a great view from the cafeteria.

We love to go here at least once a year - it is always exciting. Many big companies and local libraries give out free tickets.

I take my kids there (all under 5 years old) IT can be overwhelming if it is busy but we usually go on a weekday. We enjoy the discovery center and also utilize the library. We have a membership which I think is so worth it! It offers free parking for up to two hours which is plenty of time for my kids.

Check it out friday night- it is open late and there is live jazz and sit down dinner. Fun with a toddler!
