QuoteWe took our CPR, childbirth, newborn care, and breastfeeding classes at the Motherhood Center and loved them. It was much more intimate than going to the hospital, and the hours worked well for working parents. After my daughter was born, I found their parent-and-baby yoga classes to be a fun stress-reliever and really easy for someone who's inflexible like me to at least try and do. They are always trying to have new things that parents want such as the music class for infants and the cooking classes for parents who want to cook food for their babies and toddlers instead of buying the stuff off the shelf. (It's so easy, I'm surprised more parents don't do it.) I have referred lots of people to the Motherhood Center because of all the services they can offer under one facility.

QuoteI am so happy to know the Motherhood Center and all who work and teach there... My first experience there was three years ago with our first daughter. We took the Montessori Parent/infant class and it was fabulous!!! Now, as an expecting mother again I am so happy and thankful to have the resources that the Motherhood Center offers... everything you can possibly think of for pregnant mothers. The services offered after the baby is born are also top notch. The music classes for children and the baby sitting/nannie services are terrific. The Motherhood Center has been beneficial to my entire family. If you are looking for QUALITY, the Motherhood Center is the place to go.

QuoteAs their ad states, the Motherhood Center offers just about everything that pregnant women and young mothers need, especially for moms (like me) who do not have any family members living nearby. Their postpartum doulas, especially Ann Masterson and Nikashia Franklin, were invaluable after I brought home my very premature baby from the NICU. Though they were quite expensive, it was worth it. Everyone in my family who had come to help visited while my son was still in the hospital (he was there for five weeks) and my husband had used all of his vacation time before the baby came home. In addition, I brought home my baby when he was still far from full term. He couldn't leave the house for a couple of months. If I hadn't had the help of the doulas, I probably would have collapsed (and we would have been unable to get groceries, etc.). Now that my son is old enough to venture out into the world, we have participated in the Motherhood Center's fabulous music classes, led by the brilliant Ana Trevino-Godfrey, and have enjoyed several of their events. In general, I have found the atmosphere there to be warm and welcoming. As a breastfeeding mom, it is nice to know that someone will find me a chair, a pillow, and a glass of water when my son is hungry. The only negatives: I have used the babysitting service and the sitters tend to be highly qualified and trustworthy. However, the babysitting service is quite pricey and the people who run it struggle with organization. In my experience, the babysitting coordinators have been slow to respond to messages, have lost track of information, and have neglected important details.

QuoteWow this place is beyond amazing! You MUST go to the prenatal yoga classes if your pregnant..erica is probably the sweetest person I have ever met! she really makes you feel at home. the only thing i would change if i could about this place is I wish there was more retail (not very much selection.) but all in all I give this place an A.
