I have to say that joining the MOMS Club of Roswell-South has been one of the best decisions I have made as a mom. I joined when my daughter was about 6 months old because I wanted to have a playgroup not only for her to have social interaction but also for me to meet some other friends in the same stage of life. I had no idea that I would be in the same playgroup almost 4 years later and that these moms would be some of my closest friends. It has been an amazing experience and I feel forver indebted to this group for making my parental experience even more wonderful. One thing I love about this group is that you can do as much or as little as you would like. You pay the $25 joining fee for the year which entitles you to the monthly newsletter with all of the events. The events range from everything to park playdates to visiting the local firestation. Then, you decide what you would like to do. I have enjoyed this group so much that this year will be my third year serving it as either a board member or on a committee. I also like the Meals for Moms service which provides meals to moms in need (i.e. due to moving, giving birth, illness in the family). The Babysitting Co-op is also great and includes about 20 moms in the club that exchange points to babysit for other moms then benefit from enjoying moms babysitting for their little ones. If you live in the designated zip codes for this club and you're a stay-at-home mom, joining this club will be one of the best decisions you have ever made! :)

This 9 year-old club is extremely well organized and the members are very down to earth! It offers a babysitting co-op, meals for moms who have recently given birth, moved or who have been ill, playgroups and weekly activities. Monthly business meetings are held at area parks or the Roswell library. It has been a lifesaver for me! I joined in 2004 when my 3 1/2 year old was born and it was the best decision I made. Membership eligibility is determined by geographic boundaries within zip codes. If you are in 30075 you will love it!
