In addition, the Meeting of Creditors has been changed to 2/27/08 at 1:30 pm. Creditors are invited but not required to attend this meeting. A notice will be mailed to everyone on the bankruptcy court mailing list as soon as the procedure has been established. QuoteI went the other day, after I got the letter. The door has a letter on it with a contact number. It looks like a lot of the stuff is gone, but there is still a good amount left. I really liked this place, but I think they were too expensive for second hand. Who wants to pay $30.00 for a Gymboree outfit that's used when you can go to the outlet and get it for half the price?! I just would like my stuff back!

QuoteI also had items on consignment in this store: I have twins and they out grew thier highchairs, infant carseats, swings, double stroller, packnplay -- I never got paid my share of the commission and I feel sick about it. Like it was all stolen. It looked like such a nice place... And I had really nice stuff. I got the letter about the bankruptcy hearing and will try to go and see if I have any recourse, that is, if I can find a sitter.

QuoteI heard today that the store had declared bankruptcy and assets seized..that probably means that any inventory that was there is gone...so if you had items on consignment there, you won't have any recourse. This is a sad situation. Maybe there is a way to get our stuff back, but I don't know how.
