Although I've only been apart of the Beverly Chapter group for almost an year, they truly embraced me and made me feel like I am apart of a family. People really do care about you and your family. Each woman is unique and caring. Mocha Moms is a great organization.

As a first time mom, and a transplant to Chicago, Mocha Moms- Chicago Beverly has been a home away from home for Amina and me!! I love the women, the outings, the meetings. It is just nice to have a support group of other moms. Now I have new friends who all talk about their kids as much as I do!!

It has given me great joy to connect with women who share my passion for parenting. The members of the Mocha Moms Beverly chapter certainly understand that support comes in so many different forms and we all need it from time to time.

The Mocha Moms, Inc. organization is dedicated to understanding and supporting women of color in their journey of being an at-home mom and their dedication to their families. I went to my first meeting in 2004. It was very comforting to talk to women who had similar concerns and issues. I was relieved to know I wasn’t the only one who had questions regarding my child’s nutrition, was sleep deprived, craved some adult conversation during the day, had laundry piling up and had no idea what to cook for dinner. I had never been so reassured in my life. The Chicago Beverly Chapter is full of incredible women and each one has something unique to contribute. In short, this chapter is awesome!
