QuoteFun place for older kids, shallow area minimal for youngers. Good location for a full day outing.playground outside, NW 23rd is a great street to peruse as a family for quaint Portland experience and Jamison Park fountain is about a mile away for summer splash fun (and that one is free!) I think Portland Parks admission 3.75-4.50? is a little high when you add up the cost of taking the whole family.
