QuoteWe love the museum so much, we bought a membership. Our son will play for hours in the museum. My husband also enjoys being able to interact with our son while he learns new things. He even took him while I was in early labor up the street at the hospital until Grandpa could come and get him.

QuoteOur family really enjoyed the Children's Museum. Our son was 10 months old when we went, so we liked the Habitot area. We will definately be visiting again soon when he will get more out of it. The benefit of going on a Sunday is the free parking, but the negative is that it is packed! I would recommend going on a weekday. Also, from the Dakota Public Libraries, you can check out free passes!

QuoteWe have gone to the Minnesota Children's Museum a handful of times in the short period that we've lived here and our son loves it. He is still pretty young and we've learned to head right up to the top floor where you will find their little ones' room. I think of it as a visual lullaby - it's very magical, has lots of interesting things for the infants and toddlers to explore, the colors aren't overwhelming and it's just the most serene room in the entire place. Not to say the room doesn't get crowded and noisy but still, it's got a peaceful vibe. I also love that they have a secluded nook for nursing mothers. Our son has also loved the 'video' room where kids get to sing and dance while seeing themselves on the various tvs in the room. He loves helping to select the music. On a whole this museum delivers with the right combination of reliable stand-bys and varying exhibits (once it was Bob the Builder and another time it was Sesame Street) to keep the kids' interest. It's a blast to see them figure things out!
