"the word-of-mouth survival guide for SAN FRANCISCO parents"

We took "How To Care For Your Newborn" and a birthing class called "Great Expectations". We learned quite a bit from the instructor. We had the same instructor for both classes. She was very knowledgable and used to be in charge of the birthing unit at Peninsula. I'm sure the instructor makes all the difference. If you have a bad instructor then you'll have a bad experience. She was great and answered everyones questions.

I think it depends on your class/teacher but the class that we took was a general birthing class called great expectations and it was horrible. The teacher was unable to answer anyone's questions and the videos provided were at least 15 years old. The materials were outdated and poorly photocopied.

My 2 year old loves going to Donna's 'playgroup' and I love Donna's enthusiasm for young children.

The postnatal yoga class was wonderful. They worked on all the aches and pains still felt after delivery.
