Such a nice park but be prepared, it's very big! Be sure to go on a cool day and not a hot day like we did. The park is well maintained and is simply a fun outting with the kids.

It's been a long while since I've been to Metrozoo. The last time I've been there, all I could remember is all the walking I have to do to see all the animals. On the plus side, it means these animals have a huge plot of area to live and play in. There was a lack of shade and resting areas (i.e. benches). Of course, there's also a metrorail system to take you from one location to another, as well as bike rental, which both methods cost money. Overall, it's not an amazing zoo but definitely wouldn't disappoint. After all, it's Miami's only zoo.

I have been there for many occasions and it is very nice. I would go at least every 3 to 6 months as they have new animals/exhibits that may be captivbating to all. Kids love the petting zoo.
