my nurse needed to get home so she called my doc and told her I needed a c-sec, but really she just wanted the doc to come and speed things along, but she did talk to me about a sec before the doc even got there...ugh, still not happy with them!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hospital.
My labor nurses were wonderful and the post-partum care was good, too. They were very respectful of my wishes in every way. I had many nurses come to my aid with regards to breastfeeding.
The rooms were lovely--clean, updated and good sized. And my husband was able to sleep on the little recliner chair/couch.
I LOVED my Dr., and she delivered at this hospital, so I was confident in my decision and had a truly exceptional experience.
I will delivery my next baby (or babies, as in any future ones) here for certain.
The only drawbacks, they do not have birthing tubs and the parking is VERY tedious!

Had a scheduled c-section with my favorite OBs. Surgery went well and my beautiful son came into the world. It was after the surgery that was traumatic! Once they had me in my room the care went down hill and fast. Most of the nurses were rude and ugly to me and my husband. One had a very thick accent and I was heavily sedated after the surgery and I had to keep asking her to repeat herself, she was NOT happy with me and made sure I knew it. If you asked for some help they acted as if you had just interrupted their whole day. They rarely explained anything. I was on pain pills, 3 days in I was in a lot of pain and I realized I had not had any of the pain pills in a while. The nurse said I was supposed to ask for them...no one mentioned I had to ask for them. They had been giving me them every four hours prior. Um...I just had major surgery...you think I might need a few pain pills? I spent 3 days in a broken bed that could not come up all the way. My son had jaundice and they exptected us on no sleep to take care of him under the billie lights in our room!! How do they expect us to do that? There are more horrors that we experienced...it just hurts to much to keep repeating all of them. They really treat you terribly here. Food was good...oddly enough.
