We did a lot of research when looking for a big car seat and found the Marathon to be highly rated... once installed correctly it will NOT budge... WE LOVE how easily it installs... the only negative is it is big and thus heavy... of course any full size car seat is heavy so this negative is nothing we could change by getting a different seat...

Easy to install, tall enough to last a good long time, cute covers, high weight limit (65 pounds). It says you can use it from the time they are 5 pounds, but I don't see how...The harness is supposed to be at or below their shoulders for rear facing and I don't know of any 5 pound child with their shoulders up that high! We started using it when my daughter was 5 months old.

accomadates children from 5 pounds to 65 pounds. My son has been very comfortable in this carseat with lots of room to grow in!

Seems very comfortable, and was the perfect car seat for a cross country trip with an 8 month old. Pricey, but so worth it, especially if you can find a good deal. Love the Cowmooflage fabric too... a bit different!

We just switched over from an infant carrier to the Marathon. Our baby seems to really enjoy it and sits with his arm on the armrest like it is a recliner or something! It is bulky, but we put it in the center seat of my Prius rear facing and it fits just fine.
