I love to get to this store on every trip ti NYC. It is huge, but have a great selection of everything and there employees are great.

Great classic Macy's. Perfect for holidays, but watch out as this place can get swarmed by tourists.

A lot of stores have really small sections for infant clothing, but the Herald Square Macy's has a large area dedicated to the little guys. There is plenty to choose from in all price ranges, from racks of onesies in the $10 range, to designer clothes including cashmere sweaters for babies. They have great sales so you can often find good prices on even the pricier items. The crowds can be a drag, but weekdays during working hours are generally better.
The escalators are fun, but there is an elevator for convenience. I'd recommend heading down one floor, near lingerie, for a cleaner and more spacious ladies' room.

I think Macy's is a great place to shop for babies and even bring along the older kids. You can shop all you want and when the kids get tired you can take a little rest and a snack and get back to shopping again! :) Everything is in there.

Go on a weekday during the day if you're taking your kids with you! You'll be able to walk around and see the products! I love their kids clothes section. There's always something good to be found. Great variety and good brands. And the comfort shoes section is great too!
