QuoteOur first trip to a Lone Star baby was to the the one in Frisco, and this one (in NRH) is by far the better one. It is larger, more spread out, and easier to navigate. The people are very friendly and very willing to help/solve problems. I love the selection of higher-end merchandise. They were very helpful when we bought our baby furniture and picked-up our stroller (which we previewed and ordered at the Frisco store who had it shipped to the NRH store since it was closer to our home.)

I found that the staff at the NRH location provide EXCELLENT customer service and don't create as much of a high sales pressure environment as the Dallas store. They are knowledgeable and helpful with product selection and when I found our Peg Perego stroller for a cheaper price online (by about 25%) they had no problem honoring the price. I also ran into a situation where an item that I already had was purchased for me as a gift via special order and was marked not returnable. The GM went above and beyond (and with a smile I might add) to help up exchange the item towards another that we really needed. I definitely wouldn't expect that kind of service from Babies'R'Us. The only drawback is that with only 3 locations in the metroplex or online shopping Lonestar Baby & Kids is not the most convenient place to try and create a registry. Otherwise, I would have registered at their store in a heartbeat instead of dealing with BRU.

Quotethey have a lot of higher end gear in the store, but i am always followed around and pestered by the sales people. it gets kind of annoying when you just want to shop in peace and someone keeps popping up every five mins to ask if you're doing ok. some of their prices are a bit higher but i guess that's to be expected with the brands they carry.

QuoteI have visited Lone Star Baby on several occasions and have always been greeted by pleasant employees who are very knowledgeable. They have been very helpful and informative. I like the products that they carry and the fact that it's not like walking into a walmart. I most definately will be going back.
